How to Feng Shui Your Bedroom For Better Sleep!
Before!

After!

The Issue
When Elena and Michalis invited me to create a renewed, romantic and warm bedroom for them, I was especially happy because their personality and character are so harmonious that I was sure that our collaboration would give a wonderful result. They wanted something related to Feng-Shui filosophy but without using the ordinary Feng-Shui items in their personal space.
I started by finding the main theme, a wonderful feng shui He Tu painting. The main theme of this painting is 13 circles, 9 gold and 4 silver. Its philosophy is based on the harmonious coexistence of metal and earth. Having these elements in proper harmony in our space activates the flow of positive energy in terms of health, prosperity and wealth.

The Bedroom Before!
The original image of the room was a cool white space with no view with a bed, a chest of drawers, no decorative elements and no details to highlight the space.

The couple watching the lake with water lilies!
The idea came from the romantic note that Elena wanted to give to her bedroom! Asking her what was the most romantic moment that she could remember she told me about a lovely park in her hometown that she really missed. She remembers herself sitting and watching the water lilies!
I’ve decided immediately that the theme of this bedroom should be “the couple watching the lake with the water lilies!”
I started by creating my mood board. So, the main point was to use the elements of that painting: 13 circles, 9 gold and 4 silver. Its philosophy is based on the harmonious coexistence of metal with all other elements: earth and metal. Having these elements in proper harmony in our space activates the flow of positive energy in terms of health, prosperity, and wealth.

I created a frame like a painting on the main wall of the bed which was painted gold to highlight the wealth and prosperity and I made it a little bigger than the bed to embrace it. The interior of the frame was made white to remind the innocence and purity that exists within us. Around the frame I completed the painting with a wonderful earthy color.
Inside, I created 9 gold and 4 silver circles in different sizes, to naturally show the shadows of the water lilies. Then I placed wonderful handmade metal flowers, in different shapes and hues of gold and silver.
The difficult part was to match the couple idea opposite the bed. It took me a while searching to find those metal faces. I created two special frames, painting the wall, in the same earth color that I framed the painting just opposite, and I’ve place inside and place the two golden faces. To harmonically balance the space I also placed some beautiful decorative elements on the drawer.

The happy faces of Elena and Michalis when they saw their personal space was the greatest reward for me!
Elena and Michalis thank you for your trust.
